Snickers Dates

I have become obsessed with making snickers dates every week for a dessert treat. I love knowing I have these in the fridge for when my sweet tooth kicks in and I want something decadent, but with an added health benefit.
Dates are incredibly rich in fiber and natural sugars. Fiber is a key nutrient in digestion. It helps feed our gut bacteria and keep them happy and healthy, which in turn allows our gut microbiome to flourish and us feel regular (if you know what I mean). Moral of the story is; make these date bites and thank me later.
Ingredients;
Organic pitted dates
Natural Peanut Butter
Dark chocolate
Sea Salt
Method:
Slice open the dates and lay flat on parchment paper
Fill the dates with 1/2-1 Tbsp peanut butter
Melt your dark chocolate in the microwave or with the double boiler method
Dunk the dates in the chocolate to coat them
Place in the freezer to set
Top with sea salt and enjoy!
