🗣️ TABLE CONVERSATION:
What’s one thing you wish you started doing or learning about sooner for your health? For me it was wishing that I had realized sooner that no one else has the magical answer for my health. Our bodies are so unique and personal that what works for other people isn’t required to work for you! We have to be our own guinea pigs and find what works for us!!
Why These Seed Cups Are a Hormonal Powerhouse
✔ Pumpkin Seeds – Rich in zinc and magnesium, pumpkin seeds support progesterone production and help regulate stress hormones like cortisol. Zinc is also essential for a healthy menstrual cycle and ovulation.
✔ Chia Seeds – Packed with omega-3 fatty acids, which help fight inflammation and support hormone production. Plus, they’re high in fiber, which promotes stable blood sugar levels—key for balanced hormones.
✔ Flax Seeds – Contain lignans, which support healthy estrogen metabolism and can help reduce PMS symptoms. Their fiber content also aids in gut health, which plays a direct role in hormone regulation.
✔ Sunflower & Hemp Seeds – Both are excellent sources of vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant that supports healthy progesterone levels. They also provide healthy fats that contribute to balanced hormones.
Ingredients:
½ cup pumpkin seeds
½ cup sunflower seeds
3 Tbsp chia seeds
3 Tbsp hemp seeds
3 Tbsp flax seeds
3 Tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of sea salt
½ cup chocolate chips + 2 tsp coconut oil
Method:
1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2️⃣ In a medium bowl, combine all of the seeds, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and sea salt. Stir until everything is well coated.
3️⃣ Line a cupcake baking sheet with silicone or paper liners (silicone liners work best!).
4️⃣ Spoon the seed mixture evenly into each liner, pressing it down gently. Bake for 15 minutes until golden and slightly firm.
5️⃣ Let the cups cool completely, then place them in the freezer for at least 15 minutes—this makes them easier to dip in chocolate!
6️⃣ While the cups are chilling, melt your chocolate chips with coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler.
7️⃣ Remove the cups from the freezer and dip each one into the melted chocolate, coating the bottom. Drizzle extra chocolate on top for an extra touch of decadence!
8️⃣ Store these in the freezer and enjoy whenever you need a nourishing, hormone-balancing treat!
Hormonal balance starts with small, daily habits. These seed cups are a simple way to give your body the nutrients it needs while satisfying your sweet tooth. Give them a try, and let me know what you think! Tag me @TableConversations if you make them—I’d love to see your creations! 🌱🍫✨
