Chocolate Chip Almond Butter Banana Bars

OH MY GOSH. These are the gooiest dessert bars ever and I love them so much. The recipe is inspired from Hungry Happens and is such a quick and easy health dessert to have on hand throughout the week.

Serves: 8-12

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas

  • 1 cup crunchy almond butter

  • 1/3 cup maple syrup

  • 1/4 cup almond flour

  • Dash of cinnamon

  • Dash of salt

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (plus more on top, duh)







Method

1. Preheat the oven to 325F and line a baking pan with parchment paper

2. Combine all of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl, minus the chocolate chips

3. Whisk to combine

4. Fold in the chocolate chips

5. Bake for 30-35 minutes in the oven until a toothpick comes out clean.

6. Let cool, slice, and enjoy!
