Caprese Salad

This past week, I made this Caprese Salad for a dinner party that we had and I loved how it turned out! I used the most gorgeous organic heirloom tomatoes and fresh mozzarella cheese which is truly the best combo. This recipe is SO easy, but it looks really impressive and decadent.

Serves: 8-10

Ingredients

  • 3 large heirloom tomatoes

  • 1 log mozzarella cheese

  • 1/3 cup basil

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze

  • Heavy pinch of sea salt

Method:

1. Slice the tomatoes and cheese into thick slices.

2. Alternate the tomatoes and cheese on a plate.

3. Sprinkle over basil leaves.

4. Drizzle the olive oil and balsamic glaze and the heavy pinch of salt.
